Among Us sends you on a secretive space mission where players become members of a ship or station crew. In this multiplayer experience, each round assigns you randomly as either a Crewmate or an Impostor, and your objectives change with that role.
The Mission of Each Role
If you’re a Crewmate, your primary job is to finish assigned tasks scattered across the map while watching for suspicious behavior. Tasks typically involve repairing or maintaining ship components. You should also report any discovered bodies and join discussions to help identify the Impostors. Crewmates win by completing all tasks or by voting out every Impostor.
If you’re chosen as an Impostor, your goal is to eliminate Crewmates while avoiding detection. Impostors can pretend to do tasks, sabotage critical systems, and use vents or hidden passages to move unseen. Creating chaos and sowing mistrust among the crew helps you carry out kills without attracting suspicion.
